How Social are you?

Are you a social person?

For me personally I am a pretty shy and introverted person until I get to know you. This past Sunday our pastor hit on this a little. Not weather one way is bad and other one is good or even if one is better than the other. He mentioned the words "me too" as some of the most theological words there are.  How as humans we can connect, sympathize, etc. with each other just with the simple words "me too."

It is spot on if you think about it. If you are going through a hard time, great time or whatever it is, how much it makes you feel better or just good about yourself if you talk with someone or meet someone who is really able to say "me too."  There is just a thing about connecting with someone who has been where we have or felt how we feel.

It reminds me of the KISS method. (Keep It Simple Stupid). I mean really how simple of words and easy to connect with someone on what could be a deep level.  Now that's not say we should just going around saying me too to try to get people to feel good or to make them think we have felt or been somewhere when we haven't. It still should be a real connection.

So how about you? How easily do you connect with people?  Are you very outgoing and social or does it take time for you to connect and open up with people?

Now I know I have been horrible about keeping up with this blog. It was my goal to do one every day during the week and now its been since last Thursday I believe. It has been crazy around here and not much free time to update as I would like.  So that there isn't anyone expecting a blog and then I don't get to it, I am going to pull back and do one update each week and on good weeks maybe do a couple of extra ones. There may be a little longer, but if you are really interested and they are just too long, you can always break up the reading into a couple or few days. If we do have a lot of adventures I will try to update more often so it doesn't get crazy long. (The more feedback I get, the more motivated I will be to update more often)

Sorry, no real update on adventures, it has been so crazy and busy around here, not a lot of fun things being able to be done.  I am going to go to the Tennessee/Georgia college football game this Saturday and will be my first real whole day away from Makenna, so that should be fun and interesting. I am also trying to plan a trip to the Smokey Mountains for the family at the end of the month so be looking for that as well.
